What Happens After 36,000 km?
Once the cycle up to 36,000 km (22,500 miles) is completed, the official maintenance plan states that the intervals repeat cyclically. You only need to skip the initial break-in service:

Critical Maintenance Points
- High-Frequency Spark Plugs: Due to the extremely high ignition demands of its engine, Suzuki specifies that the Hayabusa's spark plugs must be strictly replaced every 12,000 km (7,500 miles). - Hydraulic Clutch: Unlike the cable system on lower-displacement bikes, the Hayabusa features a hydraulic clutch.
